I'm using Real 3d on an AMIGA 4000 with CyberStorm 060/50, CyberVision 64 and 32MB Ram. This software is affordable, very powerful and does real ray-tracing which might be a little slow sometimes but looks terrific!

This is out of an animation. The earth-balls fall on the mesh that has waves on it, so they start to roll and after a while "fall" through it. The mandelbrot on the mesh is animated.

This is Roger, a robot created of simple CSGs that render fast, and "equipped" with skeletons, so it's easy to animate him. Or let him sit on his butt...
